Using barcodes with Product Sales

If you have items with barcodes, and a barcode scanner, you can use them with Point of Sale in a few simple steps!

Clubworx Product Sales are compatible with any "Plug and Play" scanner. All you need is your barcode, and any scanner. Now all you need to do is point and scan!

First, you'll need to attach the barcode to the product in Clubworx - Think of this like the product's member number. Head to Product Sales then the Products tab. You can add a New Product or click the 3 dots at the end of the line item and edit the product you'd like to add the barcode to:

Next, add the product as usual - With the Product Code being the same as the barcode of the item and then click Save - (Note: Check out This Article for more information on tax rates).

Now, you'll be able to scan the item in a Product Sale. To do this, head to the POS tab and use the search bar to scan the barcode of the product. It will automatically appear in the right panel as part of the sale.
