If you collect payments from clients through CoachRx Business Suite, your payment processing is handled by Stripe. This article explains how tax reporting works, where to find your 1099-K forms, and how to pull revenue data for your tax preparation.
CoachRx Does Not Generate Tax Forms
CoachRx does not issue 1099 forms. All payment processing and tax reporting is handled through Stripe, the payment platform integrated with CoachRx Business Suite.
If you are eligible for a 1099-K, it will come from Stripe - not from CoachRx.
1099-K Forms and the IRS Threshold
Stripe is required to issue a 1099-K form to coaches who meet the IRS reporting threshold. The current IRS threshold is based on your total gross payment volume processed through Stripe during the calendar year.
If your payment volume is below the IRS threshold, Stripe will not generate a 1099-K form for you. This does not mean you do not owe taxes on that income - it simply means Stripe is not required to report it to the IRS. You are still responsible for reporting all income on your tax return.
Where to Find Your 1099-K in Stripe
If you meet the threshold and Stripe has generated a 1099-K for you:
Log in to your Stripe Dashboard at dashboard.stripe.com
Navigate to Settings
Look for the Tax Forms or Documents section
Your 1099-K will be available for download if one has been generated
Stripe typically makes 1099-K forms available by January 31 for the previous tax year.
Exporting Revenue Data for Tax Prep
Even if you do not receive a 1099-K, you can export your revenue data from Stripe for your accountant or tax preparer:
Log in to your Stripe Dashboard
Go to Payments or Balance
Use the date filters to select the tax year
Click Export to download a CSV of your transactions
This export will include all payments received, refunds, and fees, giving your tax preparer a complete picture of your CoachRx payment activity.
Accessing Your Stripe Dashboard
If you are not sure how to access your Stripe account, you can reach it through CoachRx:
Go to your Business Suite in CoachRx
Navigate to Payments or Stripe Settings
Click the link to open your Stripe Dashboard
If you have trouble accessing your Stripe account, contact coachrxsupport@opexfit.com and our team can help you locate your account.
