How to Track Lifestyle Data in the CoachRx App

Track your daily lifestyle habits in the CoachRx mobile app, including sleep, water intake, nutrition, and other metrics your coach has assigned. Learn where to log data and how your coach uses it.

Updated over a week ago

The CoachRx app lets you track daily lifestyle habits alongside your training. Your coach may ask you to log things like sleep, water intake, nutrition, stress levels, and other metrics that help them understand how you are recovering and progressing outside the gym. This article shows you how to find and use the lifestyle tracking features in the app.

Where to Find Lifestyle Tracking

Lifestyle tracking is available in the CoachRx mobile app (iOS and Android). To access it:

  1. Open the CoachRx app on your phone

  2. Navigate to your Daily View or Today screen

  3. Look for the Lifestyle section, which may appear below your workout or as a separate tab depending on what your coach has set up

The specific lifestyle metrics you see depend on what your coach has configured for you. Not all clients will see the same fields.

What You Can Track

Depending on your coach's setup, you may be able to log some or all of the following:

  • Sleep - hours of sleep, sleep quality

  • Water intake - daily water consumption

  • Nutrition - meals, calorie targets, or macro tracking

  • Stress - daily stress level rating

  • Energy - how you are feeling overall

  • Body weight - daily or weekly weigh-ins

  • Custom metrics - your coach may add other fields specific to your program

How to Log Your Data

  1. Open the CoachRx app and go to your Daily View

  2. Tap on the lifestyle metric you want to update

  3. Enter your value (number, rating, or text depending on the field)

  4. Save or confirm your entry

Try to log your lifestyle data at a consistent time each day for the most accurate tracking. Many people find it easiest to log first thing in the morning or right before bed.

Connected Health Apps

CoachRx can connect with health platforms to pull in data automatically, reducing the amount of manual logging you need to do. If your coach has enabled integrations, some of your lifestyle data may sync from:

  • Apple Health (iOS)

  • Whoop

  • Other supported wearables and health apps

To connect a health app, go to Settings in the CoachRx app and look for Integrations or Connected Apps. Follow the prompts to authorize the connection. Once connected, your data will sync automatically.

How Your Coach Uses This Data

When you log lifestyle data, your coach can see it on their dashboard. They use this information to make smarter decisions about your training - for example, adjusting intensity on days when your sleep or recovery is low, or noticing trends in your stress levels that might affect your progress.

The more consistently you log, the better picture your coach has of how your lifestyle is supporting your training.

Troubleshooting

I do not see any lifestyle fields in my app

Your coach may not have enabled lifestyle tracking for your profile yet. Reach out to your coach and ask them if they would like you to start tracking lifestyle data.

My data from Apple Health or Whoop is not syncing

Check that the integration is still connected in your app Settings under Integrations. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the service. Make sure you have granted CoachRx permission to access your health data in your phone's Settings.

I entered data but it disappeared

Make sure you are connected to the internet when logging data. Pull down to refresh your app screen. If the data is still missing, try closing and reopening the app. If the problem continues, let your coach know and they can contact support.
