Progress Pictures
Progress pictures let clients upload photos that you review over time, giving you a visual record of change that the scale and lift numbers alone can miss. This article covers how clients add photos and how you review them as a coach.
Why progress pictures matter
Body composition change is often visible before it shows up clearly in weight or measurements, and seeing real change is one of the strongest things that keeps a client motivated. A consistent photo history also gives you context for conversations about nutrition and training that numbers alone do not.
How clients add progress pictures
From the CoachRx mobile app, a client uploads progress photos to their profile. Encourage clients to keep conditions consistent for the most useful comparison: similar lighting, time of day, and angles each time.
How coaches review them
Open the client's profile to see their uploaded progress pictures.
Review the history over time to track visual change alongside training results and lifestyle data.
Use what you see to inform check-ins and program decisions.
ℹ️
Progress photos are sensitive. Set expectations with clients about why you ask for them and how they are used, and respect any client who prefers not to share them.
