CoachRx Client Onboarding

Review what your client needs to complete to onboard with CoachRx.

Get started with CoachRx by completing your profile setup and exploring essential features. This quick onboarding guide walks you through the initial setup process and key sections of your client app.

What You'll Set Up

  • Personal information - Name, birthday, contact details, and time zone

  • Body measurements - Height, weight, and unit preferences

  • Profile completion - Photo, sex, and body stats

  • Training schedule - Days and times you'll work out

  • Equipment list - Available training equipment at your locations

  • Key features - Metrics, progress photos, documents, and booking


Initial Onboarding Flow

Step 1: Start Your Account Setup

  1. Sign into your CoachRx account for the first time

  2. You'll be prompted to complete a quick onboarding flow

  3. Click "Start" to begin the setup process

Step 2: Enter Personal Information

  1. Update your name - First and last name

  2. Confirm birthday - Enter your date of birth

  3. Verify email address - Ensure your email is correct

  4. Add phone number - Provide contact number for notifications

Step 3: Set Your Time Zone

  1. Select your time zone from the dropdown

  2. This is critical - Time zone affects:

    • Push notification timing

    • Prescription delivery accuracy

    • Scheduled workout reminders

  3. Ensure you select the correct time zone for your location

Step 4: Choose Unit Preferences

  1. Select your preferred measurement system:

    • Metric (kilograms, centimeters)

    • Imperial (pounds, feet/inches)

  2. This determines how measurements display throughout the app

Step 5: Enter Body Measurements

  1. Height - Enter your current height

  2. Weight - Enter your current weight

  3. Click "Complete" to finish onboarding

You're now ready to start using CoachRx!


Completing Your Profile

Navigate to Your Homepage

  1. After onboarding, you'll land on your homepage

  2. This is where your daily prescriptions appear

  3. Green ring around your avatar indicates incomplete profile

  4. Complete your profile to close the ring

Access Profile Settings

  1. Tap the Profile button in the bottom right navigation

  2. Tap the gear icon in the top right for settings

  3. Update notification preferences and password here

  4. Return to main profile view

Edit Your Profile

  1. Tap the pencil icon in the upper right

  2. Add profile picture - Upload a photo

  3. Confirm sex - Select male or female

  4. Update name, phone number, and emergency contact if needed

  5. Update body stats - Keep weight and measurements current

  6. Save changes


Setting Up Profile Sections

Explore Insights Section

Located at the top of your profile:

  • Streaks - Track consecutive days of completed prescriptions

  • RXs completed - Total workouts and lifestyle habits completed

  • Compliance tracking - Exercise and lifestyle adherence percentages

  • Updates automatically as you complete daily prescriptions

Set Up Metrics Tracking

  1. Tap "Metrics" in your profile

  2. Categories include:

    • Body metrics (weight, measurements)

    • Resistance training metrics

    • Energy system metrics

    • Custom metrics from your coach

  3. Update metrics anytime - You can add data even before coach prescribes tracking

Add Progress Pictures

  1. Tap "Progress Pictures" section

  2. Click "Upload Progress Photos" button

  3. Upload three photos:

    • Front view

    • Rear view

    • Side view

  4. Track visual progress over time

Complete Your Intake Form

  1. Navigate to "Intake Form" section

  2. Fill out the form assigned by your coach

  3. Provides your coach with essential background information

  4. Complete thoroughly for best coaching experience

Update Equipment List

  1. Go to "Equipment List" section

  2. Click "Add Equipment" in top right

  3. Add multiple locations if you train in different places (home gym, commercial gym, travel)

  4. Specify equipment available at each location:

    • Delete items you don't have

    • Add items from the pre-loaded list

    • Specify weight ranges for dumbbells, kettlebells, etc.

  5. Save each equipment list

Why this matters: Your coach designs workouts based on your available equipment.

Set Your Training Schedule

  1. Tap "Training Schedule" section

  2. Mark training days - Select which days of the week you'll work out

  3. Set time of day - Choose AM or PM for each training day

  4. Changes sync to your coach's calendar automatically

  5. Update when schedule changes - Keep your coach informed


Understanding Additional Features

Access Shared Documents

  1. Navigate to "Documents" section

  2. View important documents from your coach or organization:

    • How to read workouts

    • Grocery shopping lists

    • Program guidelines

    • Educational resources

  3. Tap any document to view or download

Book Consultations

  1. Go to "Booking" section

  2. Book consultations and meetings with your coach

  3. Links directly to your coach's calendar (if enabled)

  4. Shows date of your last consultation

Manage Subscriptions

  1. Tap "Subscriptions" section

  2. View active subscriptions and payment details

  3. Update credit card information as needed

  4. Review billing history

Profile Maintenance

  • Update body stats regularly - Helps coach track progress and adjust programming

  • Keep equipment list current - Ensures workouts match available gear

  • Maintain training schedule - Notify coach of any changes
