When configuring profiles in the system, it can be challenging to determine the ideal profile for each user, taking into account their responsibilities, department, and position within the company.
To assist with this task, the system offers four types of profiles: Super Administrator, Administrator Member, User Member, and Collaborator.
Keep reading to understand each profile and their main differences!
➡️ Super Administrator
This profile is the primary point of contact between the company and Compliasset. In addition to having access to all system features, this user also receives all our communications.
They will always be identified by the green 'Admin' tag next to their name in the "Members" section. Furthermore, this profile has the authority to modify all tool settings.
Notes:
This profile cannot be modified or deleted by any other member; only the Compliasset team is authorized to make changes to this profile. If you need to change your system’s Super Administrator, simply request the change via email at suporte@compliasset.com.
Only one (1) Super Administrator is allowed per company.
➡️ Administrator Member
This profile has access to all sections of the system, including the "Settings" menu. Although it has the same functionalities as the Super Administrator, it is not the primary point of contact between Compliasset and the company.
This means that the Admin Member can create, edit, and delete members, access reputation checks, configure reporting and compliance channels, revoke access, manage events, create campaigns and perform numerous other actions. In short, they are authorized to manage and customize the system as needed.
Notes:
An administrator member can edit any profile within the system, provided that the profile has only contributor access. When editing other members’ registration information, the administrator can only edit basic information such as job title, department, resignation date, termination, and profile changes.
It is possible to have multiple members with administrator profiles in the system.
💡Tip: To distinguish between Administrator and User profiles, note that only the former will have access to the "Settings" section in the menu.
➡️ User Member
This profile represents a member of the company’s compliance team who, for some reason, requires more restricted access. Therefore, they do not have permission to configure roles in the system and cannot edit or delete certain information.
Notes:
For this profile, you can define which system screens they can view and access. The goal is for them to assist in fulfilling requirements and performing duties without being the primary person responsible for the system.
Any Administrator Member can determine the sections of the system to which a User Member will have access.
➡️ Employee
This profile is intended for employees who are not part of the Compliance team but are called upon to handle specific requests within the system. As a result, their access is limited. They interact only with the information granted by the Compliance team, such as event files and document approvals.
However, they have the autonomy to create events and report information to the Compliance team that needs to be addressed or recorded, such as the receipt of gifts or requests for personal investments. In addition, the employee can contribute to agenda items assigned to them, adding evidence as needed.
➡️ Final Thoughts
Regardless of the type of access, all users have an employee profile, as it is understood that everyone has a duty to support the company’s compliance efforts.
