How does CUE's ultrasonic audio trigger technology work for the app-based Light Show?

CUE's ultrasonic technology embeds high-frequency audio triggers inside your chosen music track. You provide CUE with the MP3 file of the song you want to use for your Light Show, and CUE programs these ultrasonic triggers throughout the track. When the music plays through your venue's sound system, fans cannot hear these triggers — they're above the range of human hearing — but the fans' smartphones detect them through their microphones. These triggers send data to the phones, controlling the flashlight patterns and displaying synchronized content on the phone screens. This approach requires fans to have a mobile app installed but works with absolutely zero internet connectivity, making it ideal for venues where cellular networks are completely unreliable or unavailable.
