How can I set the Timezone of an Episode?
Timezone when creating a new Episode
When creating an Episode, multiple fields and settings are available. One of the options is to set the Episode Timezone, allowing you to use timings based on this fixed timezone.
By default, Cuez will select the Episode Timezone based on your computer's time settings. If, however, a Timezone has previously been set from your computer, then creating a new Episode will use the previously used Timezone for the new Episode.
When creating a new Episode from an Episode Template, the Timezone setting from the Template will be used for the new Episode.
When duplicating an existing Episode, the Timezone setting from the original will be used for the new Episode.
In each of these cases, the option to change the Episode Timezone is always available.
Timezone for existing Episodes
Episodes that have already been created, can still be updated when it comes to their Episode Timezone. Simply click the three vertical dots in the top left corner (next to the name of the Episode) and select 'Episode settings' from the menu. Next, update the Episode Timezone as needed.
How can I find/select an Episode Timezone?
The Episode Timezone field is a searchable dropdown field with the timezones listed with the following data:
GMT offset
Major city name (capital or other)
Timezone name/abbreviation, or offset in case the timezone has no specific name/abbreviation
E.g.:
(GMT -05:00) New York (EST)
(GMT +01:00) Brussels (CET)
(GMT +11:00) Sydney (AEDT)
Based on the data used in the naming of the timezones, you can search by any of the 3 elements that make up the timezone, meaning that you can search by the GMT offset, the city name, or the timezone name/abbreviation.
