Ad Suggestions (Experimental feature)

How Cuttable reads your recent performance, spots what is working, and suggests the next ad to make.

Summary
Cuttable reads your ad performance, finds what is working and what is missing, and tells you which ad to make next. Every suggestion arrives with the brief already written.

What does Ad Suggestions do?

Most creative decisions start with a blank page and a guess. Ad Suggestions starts with your own numbers instead.

Each week Cuttable reads the data you have connected and looks for a pattern worth acting on. It writes that pattern up as one suggestion: the finding, the numbers behind it, what to change, and a brief you can send straight into production.

A suggestion is a brief, not an ad. Nothing is made until you review it.

An example

A product has sold steadily for months and has no ad of its own. Cuttable finds that gap, checks how your other ads in that category performed, and suggests the ad to make, with the headline and the layout already drafted.

Before you start

Ad Suggestions needs your Meta account connected, because that is where your ad performance comes from. Connect Google Analytics, Klaviyo and Motion as well, and Cuttable has more to work from: your website traffic, your email and SMS results, and your creative reports. You can also point Cuttable at an MCP server of your own.

Availability

Ad Suggestions is experimental and off by default, so expect some rough edges. To turn it on, start a chat with our support team from inside Cuttable. We want your feedback while we shape it.

Where to find your suggestions

Suggestions will appear when you open Cuttable on the Dashboard, or you can select Make Ads from any other page to get there. Each suggestion is a card carrying a headline, a short summary, the sources the finding came from, and when Cuttable created it.

What a suggestion contains

Select a card to open the full suggestion. It has four parts:

  • The headline finding, in one line.

  • In more detail, which gives the numbers behind the finding.

  • What we suggest, which names the change to make.

  • The brief we'd start from, which is the brief Cuttable has already written.

How to make ads from a suggestion

Select the Make ads button at the bottom of the suggestion. It opens a brief pre-filled from that suggestion. You review the brief before anything is made, so opening it creates no ads on its own.

Telling Cuttable what you think of a suggestion

Each suggestion carries a thumbs up, a thumbs down and a comment button under its headline. Use them to say whether the suggestion was useful, and add a comment when you want to explain why.

For guidance that should apply to every future suggestion, select Edit your notes for ad suggestions at the top of the Suggestions page. Notes are per brand, and Cuttable reads them each time it generates suggestions.

FAQs

The page says there is nothing to suggest. Why?

Suggestions are drawn from your recent ad performance, so an empty page means Cuttable has not found enough in that window yet. Check that your Meta account is connected, and that your ads have been running recently.

How often do suggestions change?

Cuttable refreshes them weekly. It reads your connected data on its own, so you do not have to ask for a new set.

Does Cuttable make the ads by itself?

No. One suggestion gives you one brief, and you review that brief before any ad is made.
