Switching between Basic and Advanced Mode
Switching between Basic and Advanced Mode
Updated over 3 years ago

On your clinical dashboard, you can choose to create sessions using either the basic or advanced version of the dashboard.

Using the Basic Mode of your dashboard you may set up sessions for your patients using pre-set protocols depending on the purpose of the neurofeedback training. These pre-set protocols include recommended training and reference channels and electrode placements. It also allows you to choose from a range of suggested session durations and provides a recommendation as to whether the session should be done with eyes open or closed. This will give you all the information needed to set up programs for your patients.

The Advanced Mode of the dashboard allows you to create sessions for your patients using your own protocols with pre-set or custom frequencies. It allows you full control over electrode placement, session duration, and frequencies trained. To watch a video tutorial on how to set up a custom session in advanced mode, see here.

Switching between the Basic and Advanced Mode of the dashboard is easy.

Simply click on the sidebar on the top left side of your dashboard and select Create or Edit Program and select the patient for whom you would like to create a session. You may also visit your client's profile page by expanding the side menu, clicking on Clients > Select Client and then click Create Program.

In the Program Settings box, use the toggle at the top right corner to switch between Basic and Advanced Mode by clicking on it until the circle appears next to the preferred mode.

You can switch between Basic and Advanced mode at any time, allowing you to set up some sessions using the Advanced mode of the dashboard and others using the Basic mode.
