Get set up and ready to go on the Myndlift with these quick and easy first steps

Updated over 3 years ago

We want to make it as easy as possible to get started with Myndlift. Follow these steps to set up your platform and learn to use the system, and don't forget that our customer care team is always here to support you!

To get started, you will need the following hardware:

Step 1 - Setting up a new client

By adding a client to Myndlift, you're granting them access to your virtual clinic. Learn how to add a new client and how to customize your communication with them.

Step 2 - Adding protocols and programs

Myndlift gives you complete control over your clients' training and which protocols they use. Learn how to set up custom protocols and add those to your clients' programs to customize their training completely.

Step 3 - The Myndlift Assessment

The Myndlift assessment is a guided program that helps you set a baseline from which to start training your client. Learn how to set it up and customize it and why it's so useful to get started.

Step 4 - Live sessions

Setting up remote neurofeedback training can be tough, but Myndlift allows you to view your clients’ sessions live and manage their training from wherever you are - it’s as if you’re in the room.

Step 5 - Generating reports

Use Myndlift's beautiful and easy-to-create reports to share results with your clients. Quickly and easily compare assessment results, and update your client on how they've improved and where you need to focus next.

Using the Headset

To connect the headset:

  • Turn on the headset by pressing the power button for 2 seconds (no need to pair the device in your Bluetooth settings).

  • Place the headset on the center of your forehead, about 1 inch above your brow line, as shown in the image below.

  • Make sure there is no hair between the forehead and metal band of the Muse or between the rubber earpieces and the back of the ears.

Connecting the external (auxiliary) electrode

  • Connect the electrode to the micro-USB port (charging port) of your Muse

  • Apply a pea-size amount of conductive paste to the electrode cup

  • Part the hair and place the electrode firmly on the head

  • For more information on getting a good signal using the headset, see here.
