No Martingale

Why doubling your position size after losing trades (Martingale) is prohibited on every plan, and how it differs from DCA.

The Martingale strategy, or doubling down after losses, is prohibited on every plan and every instrument.

What counts as Martingale

Martingale means increasing your size on each new trade after a losing trade to win back the loss. Increasing your position size by 2x or more after a closed loss, as part of this pattern, isn't allowed.

Example: you trade 2 NQ and close at a loss. Your next trade is 4 NQ, another loss, then 8 NQ, and so on until you win or the account fails. This is Martingale.

What's allowed

Adding to an open position within your max contracts is Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA), which is allowed. Martingale is about the size of new trades after closed losses.

Consequences

Trading activity is monitored for doubling-down patterns. If a prohibited strategy is confirmed, all accounts involved are closed and unpaid profits on them are forfeited. Serious or repeat violations lead to a full ban. Payouts approved before the finding are honored.
