Qualifying Days (QDays)

What counts as a Qualifying Day, how many you need on each plan, and how QDays differ from TDays.

A Qualifying Day (QDay) is a trading day that counts toward passing an evaluation or toward a payout.

What counts as a QDay

  • You meet or exceed the minimum daily profit for your account size.

  • You follow all trading rules.

  • The day ends within your plan's consistency limit.

  • The day is a trading day (6:00 PM ET to 4:59 PM ET the next day).

The day you request a payout doesn't count as a QDay.

It is possible for a day to have recorded profit greater than the minimum required amount but not be counted as a Qday. This is because the day has either broken a rule or is above the consistency percentage.

These percentages are re-calculated every day after reports load, so as profit is generated the % of total profit that day counts as is reduced. Once it is calculated to be within the consistency limit, it will be counted as a Qday.

QDays vs TDays

TDays (Trading Days) count every day you traded, whether or not it qualified. Both appear on your Dashboard. The Minimum Activity Policy counts days that meet the minimum daily profit, even if they aren't QDays.
