Deblock may have no other option but to close your account if it breaches our Terms and Conditions in a significant way or if it breaks the law. You can see all T&Cs in this page.
When Deblock may close an account
Deblock may close an account if any of the following occurs:
Fraud or other financial crime is suspected or confirmed.
Abuse of Deblock’s services, policies, or systems.
Provision of false or misleading information.
Harm to other users or third parties.
A binding instruction from an external authority, for example a court order or a police report that requires action.
All decisions are carefully considered and documented.
Confidentiality requirements
Regulations may require that we keep certain processes confidential. As a result, we may not be able to share the exact reason for the closure. Even when we cannot provide details, please know that each decision follows internal controls and is recorded for audit and regulatory review.
Fraud Claims and Fund Recalls
If your account suspension involves a fraud claim or a request to recall funds, the process follows strict protocols. Due to privacy regulations, Deblock cannot provide specific timelines or status updates in chat. However, you will receive an in-app notification if funds are successfully returned.
Finality of account closure
Account closures are irreversible.
Why Deblock takes these steps
Closing an account involuntarily is a last resort. We consider it a significant outcome every time it happens. As a regulated institution, Deblock has a duty to protect our customers and the wider financial system. When strong measures are required, we must act.
