You can choose to perform third party checks yourself, or through Deploi. If you wish to do them yourself, you can simply run the check, and upload any evidence into the relevant check’s document section. You can then mark the check as completed.

If you wish to use Deploi for these checks, you can click ‘Request New Check’. We will then run the check and upload it directly into the candidates file for you to review. You will also receive an email notification once this is done. Please be aware that requesting checks from Deploi may incur additional fees.

The aim of these checks is to mitigate risk. This may mean having reasonable confidence that the candidate is not the same person that shows up on any lists, or it may mean reviewing the risk associated with a flagged candidate. Not all appearances on lists are equal.

If results are returned on your checks, you may need to take steps to confirm these results, such as comparing birth dates, countries of birth, nationalities etc. as some names are extremely common, so having multiple results returned is quite likely. You will need to decide what is a reasonable amount of precaution in this case, although Deploi can support with this, should you require.
