A MYM account first connects in the app, with its email address and password. When that doesn't work, you connect it with the Desirely Chrome extension. This article covers that second case.
Managing several MYM models with the extension? Connect each MYM account from its own Chrome profile, with the extension installed in each one. One Chrome profile = one MYM model.
Why a MYM account gets disconnected
The extension sends Desirely the MYM session open in your browser, meaning its login cookies. But a Chrome profile only keeps one MYM session at a time.
If, in the same Chrome, you log out of model A's account to log in to model B's, A's cookie expires. Desirely can no longer use it: A's account switches to Disconnected and the AI stops on that account. That's why you can log in to MYM without any problem while the account drops in Desirely.
Each Chrome profile has its own cookies. With one profile per model, the sessions no longer clash.
1. Create a Chrome profile for the model
In Chrome, click the profile icon at the top right (your photo or initial), then Add Chrome profile.
Choose Continue without an account: no Google account needed.
Give the profile the model's name and a color, so you can spot it at a glance, then click Done. A new window opens: that's this profile.
2. Install the extension and connect the MYM account
Everything happens in the new profile's window:
Install the Desirely extension from the Chrome Web Store, then pin it to the toolbar. An extension only exists in the profile where it is installed: you need to install it again in each new profile.
Open the extension and sign in with your Desirely account (again, once per profile).
Go to creators.mym.fans and log in to the model's MYM account.
Open the extension and click Send to Desirely.
Go back to Desirely, Models page, and refresh the page.
A window then opens to create the model or link the account to an existing model: see "Create a model or link an account to an existing model".
Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each MYM model: a new profile, the extension installed in it, a single MYM account connected.
Good habits
One profile, one model: never connect a second MYM account in a profile that is already in use.
Don't log out of MYM in a model's profile: her session would expire and her account would switch to Disconnected.
To switch from one model to another, switch Chrome profile (profile icon, top right), not MYM account.
If a MYM account is already "Disconnected"
Open that model's Chrome profile, or create it as above if it doesn't exist yet.
Log in to her MYM account on creators.mym.fans.
Open the extension, click Send to Desirely, then refresh the Models page.
Still disconnected? Follow "A platform account shows Disconnected", or message us from the Messenger with the model's name.
