View: Hours by week

In Eitje, you can consult the time registration in two ways: by week or by team member. Read more about the hours per week in this article

When would you choose this view?

  • You want immediate insight into your team members' hours on a weekly basis.

  • You want to compare the amount of planned hours to the amount of worked hours.

In this view, you can easily approve the entire day or week at once, edit multiple hours at once, move hour entries, and see your revenue.

Show

Under the 'Show' button, there are several elements that you can turn on and off. If you feel the time registration is too cluttered, you can choose to hide some information.

  • Hour entry: Choose whether you want to see the start and end time of an hour entry and in which team the hours were performed.

  • Team member: You can indicate if you want to see the worked and planned hours of a team member under their name on the left side.

  • Separate rows: If the revenue is enabled, you will see the revenue results at the bottom.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: Do you just want to see the hours of team members that actually worked that week? Then use the filter for team members with hours in the left bottom corner.



Tools

With the 'Tools' button, you can perform several quick actions.

  • Add hours: A window opens so you can add hours to the page.

  • Export hours: A window opens with the ready-made exports of the time registration.

  • Export to Nmbrs: If you use Nmbrs, you can export the hours here.

  • Edit multiple hour entries: This allows you to select and edit or approve multiple hour entries at once. For example, you can easily add a 15-minute break to all hour entries

  • Settings: Under this button you find all the settings for the time registration. You can read here what everything means.

  • Time settings: Choose the rounding of the start and end time of shifts. This can be down to the minute, or per 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes. This is related to the shifts on the schedule.


Difference with schedule

At the top under the week and the days you can see the difference between the amount of worked hours and the amount of planned hours on the schedule. In the example there are 17 worked hours while there were only 9:30 hours on the planning. By clicking on the little arrow you can also choose to hide this information.


Information of team members

For each team member, on the left side below the name, you can see the amount of worked and planned hours if this is enabled. You can also disable it.

By clicking the arrow you have a few options, like add hours and select shifts to edit or approve. You can also send a message to the team member of redirect to their contract or profile.


Revenue

If you have the revenue feature enabled, you can see your revenue results at the bottom of the page. You can see the revenue here, as well as the labour productivity and labour costs.

Approve hours

The most important thing you can do on this page is approve hours. You can do this by clicking on an hour entry. A window will open. Read here what everything means.

โ€‹โš ๏ธ Note: Approving hours can only be done by the admin or team members with the role 'Approve hours'.

You can approve hour entries one by one, but there are faster ways. You can edit and/or approve multiple hour entries at once using the button 'Edit multiple hour entries' under 'Tools', or you can approve all outstanding hours of a day or the week. Click on the little arrow next to the week or day and select 'Approve all hours'.


Move hour entries

In this view you can move hour entries. You can move the hour entry to a different day (1), team member (2) or venue (3) by clicking on it and adjusting int.

In case of a day or a team member you can you also drag and drop the hour entry.

โš ๏ธ Note: Open (blue) hour entries cannot be moved. These are planned shifts, so they can only be adjusted on the schedule.
