View: Schedule as a table

In Eitje, you can also view the planning as a table. This article tells you when this view is useful, and discusses all its functionalities.

Updated over a month ago

Why choose this view?

  • You can assemble the table exactly the way you want. You can, for example, add, sort and pin columns. In addition, you can group the data, and apply multiple filters.

  • You can view the schedule for a specific period, such as the entire month or wage period.

  • You can easily select, edit and/or publish multiple shifts.

⚠️ Note: you cannot create shifts in this view.

In this article, we explain the following functionalities:

Period (1)

Group (2)

Tools (5)

Period

At the top left, you can select the period for which you want to see the schedule. You can choose per day, per week, per month, per pay period (which you can set per contracttype) or specific period.

⚠️ Note: For the option 'specific period', you can select a maximum of 2 months. Do you want to select a longer period? Then it's best to use an export.

Group

At the top right, you'll see the button ''Group per''. You can group the shifts based on a column. In this example, we've grouped the tabel by team member. By clicking on the arrow behind the team member's name, you can unfold all shifts of this team member. You can also ungroup your selection.

Columns

At the top right, you'll also see the button ''Columns''. Here you can check which columns you want to see or not see.

If you click on the name of a column within the table, you'll see a number of options. You can sort the table based on this column, or group the shifts by the chosen column. Furthermore, you can pin, move or hide the column.

Filters

At the bottom of the page, you can see multiple filter option. You can filter shifts by:

  • Venue: to only see the shifts of one or certain venues.

  • Team: to only see the shifts of one or certain teams.

  • Status: filter the shifts by status: unpublished, published, trade requests, and/or open shifts.

  • Conflict: get to see only the shifts that cause a conflict.

  • Contract type: filter by one or more contract types: zero hours contracts, hours contracts, payroll, ZZP or no contract.

Tools

The 'Tools' button allows you to do some quick actions related to scheduling:

  • Load template: load a saved template for a specific week or month.

  • Manage templates: manage your different templates and rename them.

  • Sick reports: in this overview you can report a team member sick or better. Here, you can also see all sick reports from the past.

  • Planning panel: here you will find an overview of the planned hours and days of all team members. You can also see their contract hours or desired number of days. Do you keep track of the hourly balance? Then you'll also find this in the panel.

  • Add event: add a special event to a day in the schedule.

  • Export schedule: export the schedule of a certain period to an Excel file.

  • Time settings: round off the start and end times of shifts. This can be done to the minute or by 5, 10, 15, or 30 minutes.

Numbers of shifts

At the top of the planning, you can see the total number of shifts for the selected period, and for which branches this is displayed.

Edit and publish shifts

You can edit and publish shifts on this page in two ways:

  1. Per shift: you can click on one shift, to edit and publish this shift.

  2. Multiple shifts: to select multiple shifts, you can use the checkboxes. So you can select all shifts (1), only a grouping (2) or a single shift (3). At the bottom, the 'Perform action' button appears. Here you can select the option 'Edit shifts' or 'Publish Status > Publish'.

⚠️ Note: Editing and publishing shifts can only be done by the admin and team members with the role 'Manager'.
