What is Emerge?
Emerge is a digital-first banking alternative that gives businesses complete control and flexibility over company spend. What's in it for you? No more delayed reimbursements, issued cards, or having to dig around the shoebox for receipts - Emerge takes employee spending into the 21st (digital) century.
How do I download Emerge?
You can download Emerge from your app store by following this link here on your phone. Alternatively, just search for Emerge in the App Store or Google Play.
How do I sign up to Emerge?
You will have received an email invitation from your manager onboarding you to Emerge. Make sure you log in using the same mobile number you were invited with. From there, you'll be encouraged to set a 6-digit passcode and set up Face ID.

Your home screen
Your command centre, this is where you can navigate to all your necessary actions as a team member.
What actions can I take from my home screen?
There are a few things available to you on your home screen so let's break them out.
π Check available funds
If your card has been set up with a limit you'll see, in realtime;
Spending limits: In the example above, there is a limit on this card for $250.
Limit renewal: Depending on what timeframe has been set up by your Admin (e.g. daily or weekly), you'll see how many days are left until the limit is renewed.
Available funds: As you spend, this amount will decrease so in the case of above, there's $50 available to spend on the card over the next three days.
π³ Get card details
Forgot your card number, CVV, or expiry date of the card? Tap on the card and the details will reveal themselves for two minutes after you've entered your passcode.
π‘ Tip: you can copy the card number for a quick copy and paste!
βοΈ Freeze or unfreeze your cards
Power is in your hands to keep your card safe! You can instantly freeze your card if it's lost or there is any suspicion of card fraud. Simply click unfreeze if you find your card again or it's all clear to resume spending.
β οΈ Freezing your card will temporarily deactivate your card in your Apple or Google wallet as well. Unfreezing will restore payment functionality.

Here you can (re)set your PIN, customise the card name, what permissions your card has and more!
π See assigned cards
If you have more than one card assigned to you, you can tap the card symbol on the top right-hand corner to see a list of all the cards you have. Tap the card to revisit limits specific to each card.
How do I spend with Emerge?
Emerge physical and virtual cards are a debit card so work online, in person, or via contactless. Just make sure you choose Credit when completing transactions on your physical card.
How do I attach receipts in Emerge?
You'll need to navigate to each transaction to add receipts, so make sure you're getting into the habit of doing it as soon as possible and not letting them stockpile.
Scroll down to the bottom of the transaction and tap Attach receipt and files to either take a photo, attach from your photo library or files, or scan a document.
π‘Tip: As soon as you see the Emerge notification pop up on your phone, get into the habit of tapping it immediately. It'll open the app to the transaction itself, where you can tap Attach receipt and files and take a picture of your receipt.
FAQs
How do I activate my card?
Once you've set up your PIN in the app, you'll need activate the physical card by using the chip and PIN for your first purchase.
Where can I find the limits on my card?
The limit for your card can be found in a few places:
On the top-right of your card on the home screen
Above the limit meter on the top-right on the home screen
Manage (card) > Spend limit
What about if my card has permissions?
Head to Manage (card) > Spend permissions and you'll see what functionality your card has (e.g. Online and contactless purchases are permitted).
How do I add extra information to my transactions?
Tap on the transaction from your home screen or navigate to History at the bottom of the home screen to search for older transactions. There, you can assign GL codes (if your Admin has enabled them), add a note or attach a receipt.

Reach out to us via in-app chat, this is the most secure way for us to talk about your account with you. Tap Manage on the bottom-right of your screen, navigate to Help and Information and send us a message!
