The quickest way to add products to an Order is to use the Quick Pick. Use the quick pick to search across all your products and quickly add them to your Order with a price.
Get Started
Now you have created your order it will navigate you to the order overview screen.
To begin, enter the product or item name into the Name field under the Quick Pick option.
You can select the desired product and then begin to fill in the quantity and price. When you have finished adding in these details, select the green + button and it will be added as an order item.
To edit an order Item, you can use the arrow on the item line to show the drop-down menu, from here select Edit on the menu.
The following screen will then appear.
You can amend price and discount details in here. When you've finished making your changes, click the green button labelled Update Order Item and you will return to the order overview screen.
You can continue to add as many products as you want onto the order. When you're ready you can move onto the next steps.
Auto Pick
When the Auto Pick setting is enabled, the system will automatically check stock availability for each order item:
If sufficient stock is available, the item is marked as To Dispatch, skipping the manual pick confirmation step and streamlining the sales order process.
If only part of the required quantity is available, the system will split the line, allowing the user to proceed with a partial delivery.
Back Order (B/O)
The Backorder Quantity field is used when an item cannot be fully or partially fulfilled during the order entry process.
The system automatically calculates the unfulfilled quantity and populates it in the Backorder Quantity field.
Users can manually adjust this value, for example, to backorder the entire ordered quantity, but it cannot be set lower than the quantity that is unavailable
Changing the Backorder quantity to 1000
Adding the item to the order
When you pick confirm a quantity that is less than the ordered amount, ERP Go will automatically split the order line:
The picked quantity (e.g., 9,000 units) is confirmed for delivery.
The remaining quantity (e.g., 1,000 units) is placed on backorder, awaiting replenishment.
