Setting Up Your Payouts As An International Artist

How to set up your payouts on EVEN if you are based outside the United States, including country field issues and unsupported Stripe countries.

Updated this week

If you are based outside the United States and running into issues connecting your payout account, here is what you need to know and how to get it resolved.

Your home address is showing the wrong country

During Stripe setup, if the country field appears locked to the United States or is showing the wrong location:

  • If the field is still editable, update it to your correct country before continuing.

  • If the field is locked or you have already completed setup with the wrong country, email us at support@even.biz with your artist name, your Backstage account email, and your correct home country. We will reset it for you.

Your country is not supported by Stripe

Stripe does not currently support payouts in all countries. If your country is not available in the setup flow or you receive an error when trying to connect, your account may be eligible for payouts through an alternative method.

Email us at support@even.biz with your artist name and country. We will check your eligibility and get your payouts set up through the right channel.

You already set up Stripe with the wrong country

Stripe does not allow you to change the country on an account once it has been created. If that has happened to you, email us at support@even.biz and we will coordinate a reset so your payouts are processed correctly going forward.

You need to update your address after setup

If your home address has changed and you need to update it on your account, email us at support@even.biz. Address changes on a Stripe account require manual handling on our end.

EVEN is actively expanding payout support for international artists. If you are unsure whether your country is supported or have been waiting on a payout resolution, email support@even.biz and reference your account directly so we can prioritize it.
