Reviewing the ticket inventory history allows you to detect any discrepancies or problems with your inventory. Additionally, it allows you to determine if there are any issues with the inventory activity if you notice inconsistencies between the number of sold and available tickets.

Here’s how to check the inventory adjustment history:

1. From the event dashboard, click the "More" option, then “Open in Shopify Admin”.

2. Then search for the specific ticket type for which you wish to review the inventory adjustment history.

3. Go to the variant product page. Then under inventory, click on “Adjustment history.”

4. From there, you can access the Adjustment history / Inventory.

Please refer to this for the Inventory states and their definitions:

Inventory state

Definition

On hand

On-hand inventory refers to all inventory units that you have at a location. On-hand inventory is made up of the total of your Committed, Unavailable, and Available inventory.

Available

Available inventory refers to inventory that you can sell. Available inventory isn’t committed to any orders or reserved for any draft orders. It also doesn't include inventory that's considered Incoming.

Committed

Committed inventory refers to the number of units that are part of an order but not yet fulfilled. When units are part of a draft order, they can’t be purchased by customers and won’t count as Committed inventory until the draft becomes an order.
