How can I grant check-in users access to all events?

When managing your events with Evey, you may come across situations where you need to provide Check-in users with access to multiple events instead of just one. By default, when you add a check-in user to an event through Event Settings, they will only have access to that specific event.

To add a new user or edit existing users to have access to all events, you can easily do so by following these steps:

1. Launch the Evey Events & Tickets app on your Shopify store.

2. In the top right corner of the app, you will find a "Settings" option. Click on it to proceed.

3. Within the Settings menu, locate and select "Check-In accounts."

Editing Existing Users:

  1. To edit the access of an existing check-in user, scroll down the list of users and click on their email. This will open their information.

  1. In the pop-up window displaying the user's information, you will find a checkbox labeled "Full check-in access to all events." Check this box to grant the user access to all events.

Note: If the box is not selected, you will see a setting named "Select the events this account should have check-in access for," where you can manually choose specific events to provide access.

  1. After making the necessary adjustments, click on the green "Save" button to save the changes you made for the user's access.

Adding a New User

  1. To add a completely new check-in user, scroll down the list of check-in accounts and click on the green "Add user" button located in the lower right corner.

  1. In the pop-up window, enter the user's email. By default, the "Full check-in access to all events" checkbox is already selected.

Note: If you wish to limit their access to specific events, you can deselect the checkbox, and the option "Select the events this account should have check-in access for" will become available. Use this option to select the specific events you want to grant access to.

  1. After providing the necessary details and selecting the desired access level, click on "Save" to complete adding the new user.

With these straightforward steps, you can efficiently manage check-in users and grant them access to all events or specific ones as needed. This flexibility allows you to tailor user access based on your event management requirements.
