Why the Import Attendee Feature Is Disabled During Your First 14 Days

The Import Attendee feature in Evey is temporarily disabled for the first 14 days after installation (both trial and paid plans).

Why Is This Disabled?

We identified a vulnerability in the Import Attendee feature that could be exploited to send bulk spam or phishing emails. While we have systems in place to detect and block these actions, they are not fully reliable during the first two weeks after installation.

Disabling this feature during that period helps:

  • Prevent spam and phishing attacks.

  • Protect merchants and attendees from liability risks.

  • Ensure Evey remains compliant with Shopify’s policies.


What This Means for You

  • If you are on a trial plan or recently subscribed to a paid plan, you won’t be able to use the Import Attendee feature for the first 14 days after installation.

  • After this period, the feature will automatically become available.


We understand this may be inconvenient and appreciate your patience while we continue to strengthen the feature. A safer, improved version is in progress.
