Offering Event Tickets in a Different Currency

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Evey automatically follows the store currency settings in Shopify. This means your event tickets will always display and process payments using the same currency your Shopify store is configured to use.

How Evey Handles Multiple Currencies

If your store supports multiple currencies, Evey will display ticket prices in the currency your customer selects on your storefront.
For example, if your store offers both USD and EUR, and a customer switches to EUR on your website, the ticket prices shown in Evey will automatically reflect that currency.

💡 Tip: The conversion rates and available currencies are all managed directly through your Shopify settings — Evey simply mirrors them to keep the ticketing experience consistent.

Setting Up Multi-Currency in Shopify

To allow customers to shop (and buy tickets) in their local currency, you’ll need to enable Shopify Markets. This feature lets you:

  • Offer different currencies for different regions

  • Manage pricing and exchange rates

  • Automatically detect and adjust based on the customer’s location

You can configure this by going to:

Shopify Admin → Markets
