How do I set priorities?

Learn more about the prioritisation exercise in this article.

Every successful D&I strategy needs to be focused. Setting clear priorities helps you to concentrate strategically on the things that matter most so that the team doesn't spread themselves too thin.

This way, you can get the ball rolling quickly, show early successes, and build toward advanced change over time.

Once you've completed your audit and had some time to digest your scores and insights, we'll send over your Prioritisation Exercise in Notion. This exercise helps you to decide on priority areas that are relevant to your business objectives and think critically about what's most important to tackle first.

We ask companies to share their strategic business OKRs as part of the exercise. This is so that when we prepare your personalised set of recommendations, we can make sure they're closely aligned with your core objectives. It's a key ingredient of long term success. If you don't feel comfortable sharing your objectives, feel free to summarise them at a high level.

To complete the exercise, simply review your insights across Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in the 'High-level D&I Insight' column and sort them into 3 buckets: High, Medium or Low priority. We recommend selecting 2 to 4 high priority areas across diversity, equality and inclusion. Please add comments or things we should know about in the 'Any notes?' column.

Once you've selected your areas of focus, we'll prepare a unique set of recommendations for you to start embedding change across your company.
