You can scan Fanbase tickets through a mobile device (with or without a barcode scanner), a handheld computer or integrated turnstiles. Please see all of your options below.
Mobile devices
Modern mobile devices with a camera running on ios or Android work well, all you need is the Fanbase Scan app on the device with a scanner login. You can enhance the scanning capability of a mobile device by connecting a barcode scanner, which can improve the speed of entry and they are relatively inexpensive.
Connection wise, we recommend a dedicated WiFi connection with 5G data SIM as a back up with a good battery life.
Handheld Computers
Handheld computers are usually the more expensive option but provide a more reliable scanning experience. They are recommended for clubs managing attendances of 3,000+. In all other instances, mobile devices will provide an excellent scanning experience.
