Creating a Reservation
Updated over a year ago

When creating an order, you can capture it as a reservation during the payment method stage, which means you will be collecting the payment later. To reflect this, the system will count the reservation as tickets sold and secure them, but it won’t distribute the tickets to the user or count it towards the revenue until the reservation has been converted to a paid order. To find out how to do this, please read our article viewing orders and reservations

This is very useful for scenarios such as:

  • Someone who wants to secure some tickets over the phone but wants to come to the ticket office to pay for them

  • When a fan wants to secure a table in hospitality but will call back later to pay for it

  • To manage hospitality reservations
