How to create season tickets

Updated this week

Creating season tickets in Fanbase can be done in a few easy steps, here is how:

1. Create a Sale Window

The first step is to create a sale window, which dictates the time period that your tickets will be on sale.

You can use sale windows to automate price changes. For example, you can set up an 'Early Bird' window with reduced prices followed by a second 'General Sale' window. Fanbase allows you to configure these sale windows with distinct pricing strategies. For instance, you can offer renewal customers last season's rates for loyalty while providing new customers or Early Bird buyers with separate promotional pricing. The changeover between the windows will be done automatically, ensuring seamless sales transitions.

You can set one up by:
1. Click 'tickets' on the left-hand side of the admin portal.

2. Click season tickets.

3. Select 'Sale Windows'

The screen should look similar to the screenshot below.

To set up the sale window, click 'Create sale window' on the top right.

You should now see the form below:

Once you filled out the details of the sale window, click 'Create sale window'.

[If you are using Allocated Seating then select your seating chart season at the top of the sale window set-up]

2. Create your Season Ticket

Once you have set up your sale window, you will now be ready to create your season ticket.

You can do this by:

1. Click manage on the right of the sale window you created.

2. Select 'Create season ticket'.

Once you have done this you should see the form as shown below:

In this form, enter the season tickets:
- Name
- Description
- Each type and price

3. Assign Season Tickets

Note: this step is not required if you are using a seating map

The final step to setting up your season ticket is to assign them, this just means to allocate a number for sale. You can do this by:1. Click manage on the right side of the sale window.2. Select 'Assign Tickets'3. Enter a number you want and click save. (You can edit this number at any point)

Setting Up Early Bird and Renewal Sales

  1. Setting Up Early Bird and Renewal Sales To offer exclusive sales periods like Early Bird or Renewals:

  2. Configure distinct sale windows for each category based on timing and pricing needs. For example, set an Early Bird window with promo prices and a Renewal window with specific pricing for returning customers.

  3. Notify fans about these sales via email or through Fanbase's communication channels to ensure awareness.

  4. Ensure visibility settings for these tickets are correctly configured in the Fanbase dashboard to make them available during their respective periods.

  5. Advise renewing customers to log in using their original account details to access their renewal benefits. By segmenting these offerings, you can target diverse fan groups efficiently.
