The Daily Recurring Timer (Daily recurring window) lets you show a countdown that runs during a specific time window each day.
Instead of counting down to midnight, it only runs between the hours you choose.
What is a Daily Recurring Timer?
A Daily Recurring Timer starts and ends at the same time every day (or on weekdays), then repeats automatically.
For example:
Show a timer from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM every day
Run a weekday-only promo from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Create a daily “limited time offer” window
How it works
You control three main settings:
1. Timer type
Select Daily recurring window
2. Start and end time
Start time → when the timer begins (e.g., 09:00)
End time → when the timer ends (e.g., 11:00)
👉 The timer:
Starts counting down at the start time
Ends at the end time
Resets automatically for the next day
3. Days
Choose when the timer should run:
Every day
Weekdays (Mon–Fri)
Weekends (Sat-Sun)
Example
If you set:
Start: 09:00
End: 11:00
Days: Weekdays
Then:
The timer appears at 9:00 AM
Counts down until 11:00 AM
Disappears after 11:00 AM
Repeats again the next weekday
When should I use this?
Use a Daily Recurring Timer when your offer:

Morning promos (“2-hour sale”)
Lunch deals
Same-day delivery cutoff windows
Flash sales at specific times
How to set it up
Go to Shopify Admin → Online Store → Customize
Add the Flash Countdown Timer app block and click Save
Open Flash Countdown Timer Block
Select Daily recurring window
Set:
Start time (e.g., 09:00)
End time (e.g., 11:00)
Days (Every day or Weekdays)
Click Save
Important things to know
The end time must be after the start time
The timer only shows during the selected time window
It repeats automatically - no manual reset needed
