I haven't been paid, or my pay is late

What to check if a shift you worked hasn't been paid.

Written by Stephen Paul

Florence pays weekly, every Tuesday. Work through these before getting in touch, because it's usually one of them.

Check your timesheet was approved. This is the most common reason by far. A shift is only included in a pay run once the care home has approved your timesheet. If it's still waiting, the shift will be paid on the following Tuesday instead. You can see the status in the Timesheets tab.

Check you submitted it. If your timesheet is still sitting there unsent, it hasn't started the process. We do submit it for you a couple of working days after the shift, but that adds delay.

Check which Tuesday to expect. If your timesheet was approved after this week's run, your shift is in next week's.

Check your bank details are on your account. No bank details means nothing can be sent. Look under "Edit my profile", then "Financial information".

Check the details are right. A wrong digit in your account number will stop the payment reaching you.

Allow a little time for your bank. Once we've sent it, it can take a short while to land depending on your bank.

If your timesheet was approved more than a week ago and there's still nothing, email us at hello.ca@florenceapp.com. Tell us the care home, the date of the shift, and the times you worked, and we'll trace it for you.
