Bonnie answers calls and WhatsApp messages from your guests, including during service and outside opening hours. Once connected to FRANK, Bonnie can check availability and handle reservations in your FRANK calendar.
How does it work?
When a guest calls or sends a WhatsApp message, Bonnie asks for their preferred date, time and party size. Bonnie checks availability in FRANK and, if there’s a suitable option, can create the reservation there. Your team can see the booking in FRANK without entering it manually.
Depending on the permissions you enable, Bonnie can also view and update existing reservations.
Connect Bonnie in FRANK
In FRANK, go to Manage → Applications.
Select Bonnie.
Choose which permissions you want to give Bonnie:
Availability → View: Let Bonnie check availability.
Reservations → View: Let Bonnie view reservation information.
Reservations → Create and update: Let Bonnie create and update reservations.
Reservations → Check-in and check-out: Let Bonnie change a reservation’s check-in or check-out status.
Reservations → View all reservations: Let Bonnie see reservations from all channels.
Reservations → Update all reservations: Let Bonnie change reservations from all channels.
Tables → View all tables: Let Bonnie see your tables.
Click Save.
Contact Bonnie and give their team the FRANK client ID shown at the top of the Bonnie application page. Bonnie can use it to complete the connection on their side.
Only enable the permissions Bonnie needs for the tasks you want it to handle. If you’re unsure which options to select, check with the Bonnie team before saving.
Before you go live
Check that your shifts and availability are set up correctly in FRANK. Then make a test reservation through Bonnie and confirm that it appears in FRANK with the right date, time, party size and guest details. If Bonnie will handle changes to existing bookings, test one of those too.
