Common Issues

RoboCap does not turn green when pressing the Operation Button

If the indicator light no longer turns green after pressing the Operation Button, the RoboCap storage is most likely full.

RoboCap supports up to 215 GB of storage, which is approximately 18 hours of recording.

When the storage is full:

  • Recording will not start

  • The indicator light may not turn green

Recorded Files Cannot Be Played or Appear Corrupted

If some recorded files cannot be opened, do not play properly, or appear corrupted after recording, the recording may have been interrupted before the RoboCap finished saving the data.

This can happen if the Operation Button is pressed again too quickly after stopping a recording.

After stopping a recording and the indicator light turns red, always wait at least 5 seconds before pressing the Operation Button again or powering off the device. This gives RoboCap enough time to fully save the recording data.

How to Prevent This

  • After stopping a recording, wait at least 5 seconds

  • Do not immediately start another recording

  • Do not power off the device right away

  • Wait for the device to fully finish saving data before performing another action
