β Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure:
- You are both a Gable Admin and an Okta Admin 
- You are signed in to the Gable web app 
Go to Company Settings β Integrations β SSO Provider β Okta SAML
π οΈ Step 1: Create a SAML Integration in Okta
- Log in to your Okta Admin Console. 
- In the left menu, expand Applications and select Applications. 
- Click Create App Integration. 
- In the dialog, select SAML 2.0 β Click Next. 
- On General Settings, name the app (e.g., "Gable"). - (Optional) Upload the Gable logo (available for download on the Gable SSO settings page). 
- Click Next. 
 
- On Configure SAML: - Copy the Single Sign-On URL and Audience URI (SP Entity ID) from Gable β paste them into Okta. 
- Scroll down to Attribute Statements and add the mappings in the chart below. 
 
- Scroll down β Click Next. 
- On Feedback, select This is an internal app β Click Finish.

π₯ Step 2: Assign Groups to the SAML App
- Sign Groups to the SAML App 
- Open the new application β go to the Assignments tab. 
- Click Assign β Assign to Groups. 
- Select and assign the correct groups. 
- Click Done. 
π Step 3: Set Identity Provider Metadata
- In the Sign On tab β find Metadata details. 
- Copy the Metadata URL. 
- Paste the URL into the SAML metadata URL field in Gableβs SSO settings β Click Save. 
- Click Test connection. - If successful, youβll see the attribute mappings result. 
 
β οΈ Important
If your company uses multiple domains (e.g., gable.to and trygable.com), make sure all domains are added to your Company Settings in Gable.
This ensures that all employees β regardless of their email domain β can log in via SSO without issues. Refer to the help desk article here for directions.
