Okta SAML

Easily connect Okta as your SSO provider for Gable by setting up a SAML integration.

βœ… Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure:

  • You are both a Gable Admin and an Okta Admin

  • You are signed in to the Gable web app

Go to Company Settings β†’ Integrations β†’ SSO Provider β†’ Okta SAML


πŸ› οΈ Step 1: Create a SAML Integration in Okta

  1. Log in to your Okta Admin Console.

  2. In the left menu, expand Applications and select Applications.

  3. Click Create App Integration.

  4. In the dialog, select SAML 2.0 β†’ Click Next.

  5. On General Settings, name the app (e.g., "Gable").

    • (Optional) Upload the Gable logo (available for download on the Gable SSO settings page).

    • Click Next.

  6. On Configure SAML:

    • Copy the Single Sign-On URL and Audience URI (SP Entity ID) from Gable β†’ paste them into Okta.

    • Scroll down to Attribute Statements and add the mappings in the chart below.

  7. Scroll down β†’ Click Next.

  8. On Feedback, select This is an internal app β†’ Click Finish.

πŸ‘₯ Step 2: Assign Groups to the SAML App

  1. Sign Groups to the SAML App

  2. Open the new application β†’ go to the Assignments tab.

  3. Click Assign β†’ Assign to Groups.

  4. Select and assign the correct groups.

  5. Click Done.


πŸ”— Step 3: Set Identity Provider Metadata

  1. In the Sign On tab β†’ find Metadata details.

  2. Copy the Metadata URL.

  3. Paste the URL into the SAML metadata URL field in Gable’s SSO settings β†’ Click Save.

  4. Click Test connection.

    • If successful, you’ll see the attribute mappings result.
