✅ Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure:
You are both a Gable Admin and an Okta Admin
You are signed in to the Gable web app
Go to Company Admin → Settings → Integrations → SSO Provider → Okta SAML
🛠️ Step 1: Create a SAML Integration in Okta
Log in to your Okta Admin Console.
In the left menu, expand Applications and select Applications.
Click Create App Integration.
In the dialog, select SAML 2.0 → Click Next.
On General Settings, name the app (e.g., "Gable").
(Optional) Upload the Gable logo (available for download on the Gable SSO settings page).
Click Next.
On Configure SAML:
Copy the Single Sign-On URL and Audience URI (SP Entity ID) from Gable → paste them into Okta.
Scroll down to Attribute Statements and add the mappings in the chart below.
Scroll down → Click Next.
On Feedback, select This is an internal app → Click Finish.
Name | Value |
id | user.id |
firstName | user.profile.firstName |
lastName | user.profile.lastName |
👥 Step 2: Assign Groups to the SAML App
Sign Groups to the SAML App
Open the new application → go to the Assignments tab.
Click Assign → Assign to Groups.
Select and assign the correct groups.
Click Done.
🔗 Step 3: Set Identity Provider Metadata
In the Sign On tab → find Metadata details.
Copy the Metadata URL.
Paste the URL into the SAML metadata URL field in Gable’s SSO settings → Click Save.
Click Test connection.
If successful, you’ll see the attribute mappings result.
⚠️ Important
If your company uses multiple domains (e.g., gable.to and trygable.com), make sure all domains are added to your Company Settings in Gable.
This ensures that all employees — regardless of their email domain — can log in via SSO without issues. Refer to the help desk article here for directions.
