Entra ID (Azure AD) SAML

Connect Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) as your SSO provider for Gable by creating an Enterprise Application.

✅ Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure:

  • You are both a Gable Admin and a Microsoft Admin

  • You are signed in to the Gable web app

Go to your Profile Dropdown → Company Admin → Settings → Integrations → SSO Provider tileclick Connect → select Entra ID (Azure AD) SAML


🛠️ Step 1: Create an Enterprise Application

  1. Sign in to the Microsoft Entra Admin Center.

  2. In the left menu, expand Entra ID → Enterprise applications.

  3. Click New application.

  4. On the Browse Microsoft Entra Gallery page, select Create your own application.

    • Enter an app name (e.g., "Gable").

    • Select Integrate any other application you don’t find in the gallery (Non-gallery).

    • Click Create.

  5. In the left menu, select Single Sign-On → Click the SAML tile.

  6. Under Basic SAML Configuration, click the Edit icon.

    • Copy the ACS URL and Entity ID from Gable → paste into the configuration window.

    • Click Save.


📋 Step 2: Configure Attributes & Claims

  1. In the Attributes & Claims section, click the Edit icon.

  2. Confirm or add the following claims:


👥 Step 3: Assign Users and Groups

  1. In the left menu, select Users and groups.

  2. Click Add user/group.

  3. Select the appropriate users and groups → Click Assign.


🖼️ Step 4: Add an Application Logo (Optional)

  1. In the left menu, go to Properties.

  2. Locate the Logo field → click the folder icon.

  3. Upload the Gable logo (available for download in the Gable SSO settings page).

  4. Click Save.


🔗 Step 5: Set Identity Provider Metadata

  1. In the left menu, return to Single Sign-On.

  2. Scroll to SAML Signing Certificate.

  3. Locate the App Federation Metadata URL → click to copy.

  4. Paste this into the Identity provider metadata URL field in Gable → Click Save.

  5. Click Test connection.

    • If successful, you’ll see the attribute mappings result.


⚠️ Important

If your company uses multiple domains (e.g., gable.to and trygable.com), make sure all domains are added to your Company Settings in Gable.


This ensures that all employees — regardless of their email domain — can log in via SSO without issues. Refer to the help desk article here for directions.
