โœ… Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure:

  • You are a Gable Admin

  • You are signed in to the Gable web app

Go to Company Settings โ†’ Integrations โ†’ SSO Provider โ†’ Generic SAML

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Step 1: Create a SAML Application

  1. In your identity provider (IdP), create a new SAML application.

  2. Configure the following:

    • Assertion Consumer Service (ACS) URL โ†’ copy from Gable and paste into your IdP

    • Service Provider Entity ID โ†’ copy from Gable and paste into your IdP

  3. (Optional) Add the Gable logo as the appโ€™s entry point for easier identification.

    • Logo is available for download from the Gable SSO settings page.

๐Ÿ“‹ Step 2: Configure SAML Attributes

Map the following attributes from your IdP user profile to Gable:

Identity Provider User Profile

Attribute Name

Userโ€™s first name (Required)

firstName

Userโ€™s last name (Required)

lastName

Unique identifier representing a user

id

๐Ÿ”— Step 3: Set Identity Provider Metadata

  1. Locate the Identity Provider Metadata URL in your IdP settings.

    • Paste it into the Identity provider metadata URL field in Gable.

    • Or, download the metadata XML file and upload it to Gable.

  2. Click Save.

  3. Click Test connection.

    • If successful, youโ€™ll see the attribute mappings result.

โš ๏ธ Important

If your company uses multiple domains (e.g., gable.to and trygable.com), make sure all domains are added to your Company Settings in Gable.

This ensures that all employees โ€” regardless of their email domain โ€” can log in via SSO without issues. Refer to the help desk article here for directions.
