Visitor Management Settings

Customize how visitor sign-ins, notifications, and document emails behave across your company.

🧭 Where to Find Settings

Go to:
Visitor Management → Settings

This tab controls how visitors are automatically signed out, who gets notified, and where signed documents are sent.


1️⃣ Setting: Visitor Sign-Out

This setting controls whether employees can sign out their visitors with a timestamp.

When toggled ON:

  • Employees will have the ability to sign out their visitors with a timestamp

  • A Sign-Out column will appear in Company Visits, where sign-out timestamps are recorded

  • You can notify employees via email, mobile push, both, or neither — to remind them to sign out visitors

  • The reminder is sent at the end time of each particular visit

When toggled OFF:

  • There will be no sign-out timestamp on your reports

  • No action is required from employees

  • The Sign-Out column will not appear in Company Visits — Gable will assume visitors were present within their originally selected time frame


🔔 Notifications to Hosts

You can notify the assigned host/employee when their visitor signs out:

Notification Type

Description

Email

Sends an email to the assigned host when the visitor leaves

Mobile Push

Sends an in-app push notification to their device

Example: If you are hosting an interview and are assigned as the visitor’s host, you’ll receive both email + mobile notifications when their visit time is scheduled to end and you have not signed them out yet (if the setting is toggled on).


📄 Emailing Signed Documents

When visitors complete forms like NDAs, you can automatically forward signed documents to specified email addresses. (this feature is optional — it just adds an extra email record)

Options:

  • Add one or multiple email addresses (e.g., legal@company.com)

  • Documents are also stored under the “Visits” tab for easy access later


💾 Don’t Forget to Save!

Once your preferences are set, click Save to apply your changes. If you navigate away from the page without saving all settings will revert back to the original!
