How Hosts Can Add New Spaces on Gable

Whether you’re new to Gable or an existing space host this article will show you how to add a space on Gable!

New To Gable?

Welcome to the Gable Host Network! We’re super excited to be working with you and look forward to helping you list your spaces on Gable!

Start by signing into your host account or by creating one here!

Next, fill out and verify your spaces' address information.

Click next to continue onboarding your space.

From there, you can begin adding your space details. On Gable, you can conveniently onboard all your spaces at one time!

You can list your common spaces (day passes), meeting rooms, private offices, and event spaces on Gable. Please note: you can only add 10 spaces at a time. If you need to add more than 10 spaces, follow this process again.

Next you’ll be prompted to add a title, description, and include your check-in & parking instructions for your space!

Titles should include the space being offered, the name of your space, and the location name if you have multiple workspaces in different locations.

Your description should clearly depict what makes your location unique as well as any relevant details regarding the specific space users will be booking.

Your check-in instructions should include access details that highlight how someone booking this space will be able to find the building, what they should do once they get to the building, info on any elevators, floors, suites they may need to find, and what to do once they arrive at the space. If you have parking options available you may also include them here. You can toggle your check-in instructions and parking information to carry over and save you time during onboarding!

Click Save to continue.

Next you’ll be prompted to fill out the settings of the listing.

In the General section, you’ll be prompted to fill out a few details regarding your spaces setup. In the house rules section, highlight any rules that apply to your space. It’s very important for users to know whether your space is pet friendly or not! From there, you’ll add your Wifi details, select your on-site availability within your working hours, and add any other contacts that should have oversight on the bookings coming your way.

In the space settings tab, you’ll have the ability to list how many seats are available. For common areas, we typically see 10-20 available seats offered on any given day, and meeting rooms match the capacity of the room. You’ll also be able to include a booking cutoff time anywhere from 4pm the day before up to 10am the same day. Most common space listings are set to 10am same day and most meeting spaces are set to 4-5pm the day prior.

This works with our automatic and manual approval processes that you get to choose for each space. Most common space listings are set to automatic approval as there is usually always a common area seat available for someone to book on any given day.

You also have the option to limit how many bookings are auto-approved out of the inventory listed on Gable as well.

Most meeting space listings are set to manual approval as many space operators will have their internal members and external parties potentially booking the same spaces. This allows you to check your inventory to confirm its availability prior to accepting a booking.

Click Save and you’ll be directed to the amenities section.

In the amenities section, you’ll be able to highlight any amenities your space has to offer someone booking your space. Meeting rooms also include a few additional amenities for you to highlight as well.

Users can filter by these amenities to find a space that meets their needs!

From here, you’ll be prompted to list the availability of your spaces!

You can add different working hours per each space if you’d like. Sometimes conference rooms may be able to be booked on weekends but typically we see availability consistent across all spaces. Should your space have different open hours per each day, you can also disclose what the hours are per day by turning on the toggle next to “Set different working hours per day.”

Your space must be open for at least four hours to include that day in your availability.

Next you get to set your prices! We don’t price regulate here! Feel free to add in your normally offered pricing for the spaces you’re listing on Gable. You can opt-into listing your common space for entire space rentals and meeting spaces by the hour!

Add some photos of your space so Gable users know what space they are booking.

Under the general section, you can upload general pictures of the space and the amenities that users will have access to. Under each space specifically, you can upload pictures of the exact space a user will be booking.

Common space listings should include pictures of the general common area and setting a user will have access to.

Meeting spaces should include photos of the exact meeting space being booked.

We have a 3 photo minimum to list a space on Gable. This can be a mixture of pictures from the general section and the specific listing pictures to meet the 3 photo minimum. Use the tick mark in the corner of your photos to indicate which one will be your cover photo for that space. Click next to move onto connection your preferred payout method.

You'll be redirected to Stripe to connect your bank account. No Stripe account needed. Follow the verification steps and then you'll be redirected back to Gable upon successful connection.

Existing Host on Gable?

Welcome back! Log into your host account and head to the "Manage listings" tab, then click "Add more spaces":

You’ll be greeted with the same flow you’ve previously been through to start adding your space. First, verify your address. From there, choose the space you’d like to add and begin typing out the required fields. Add details, settings, amenities, availability, pricing, and photos. Submit your listing for approval, and you’re good to go! You’ve successfully added another space!
