This article will give you an overview of the locations tab on the company settings page and a breakdown of how to manage it.
What is Geo-Fencing?
Geo-fencing is the ability for admins to adjust which locations are available for your team to book. Locations that are turned off will not show up on the Gable map as available for your team.
Tip: This is a good practice for removing areas of the map where you have a company headquarters and don’t want people booking other workspaces in that area.
How can the admin manage Geo-Fencing?
Finding the Company Settings Page:
Company admins can find their settings page here or on the far right hand side of the Dashboard menu under the “settings" tab.
Geo-Fence
Under the Locations tab is where you are able to manage the Geo-fencing and location settings.
To begin placing a Geo-fence, click on the tab labeled "Geo-fencing":
A pop-up will appear for you to enter in the address of the location you wish for your employees to not be able to book within and the distance you determine from that location. This will typically be the address of your HQ or office space:
Click "Save" or "+ Add another", if needed.
Now you're done! Employees will not be able to book within that addresses determined radius.
