Overview
This tutorial will walk you through the “Booker” experience and how to create a booking on behalf of another user.
Booking Process
Once you have been given access to Gable as a “Booker,” you can book on behalf of other users by following these steps:
Navigate to the space you would like to book by searching the location, date, type of space, and number of seats. *Tip, use the “Filter” function to ensure any needed amenities will be available at the space you’re selecting
Select the space you’d like to book and review all details to ensure it meets your needs. Then, select “Review booking →”
You'll then want to enter the team mate into the field for Assign Booking
Once the booking has been made, you will receive notifications about the booking via email or slack.
Finding the booking you've created
You can track, view, amend or cancel bookings by going to "My Bookings"
Filter by "On-Behalf" and you can view all bookings you have made on-behalf of others.
Commonly Asked Questions
If a booker books on behalf of a user who has a budget limit. Do they still need approval from an admin to complete that booking?
If the On-behalf Booker has an Admin role, they can approve bookings for all users, so the booking won't go to the Admin for approval.
If the On-behalf Booker only has a Booker role, and the user they're booking for requires an Admin approval, it will go to the Admin for approval.
If the On-behalf Booker has a Booker role, and the user they are booking for is a Booker or Admin as well, then the booking won't require Admin approval
Viewing Budget
To view the budget a Booker has created on behalf of a user you can view that in "my bookings" then go to "budget" then go to "on behalf"
