What to do if you can't see or hear your partner in a match

I can’t see or hear my partner at all

This is likely an issue on your partner’s side (almost definitely if your system has been working fine with prior matches). In this event we recommend waiting a brief period, then choosing “End Conversation” to return to the main lobby. You may still be able to match with someone else.

Something temporary might be impacting your system. If you haven’t already, please try refreshing your browser! It won’t cause issues with the event or activity - you’ll come right back to where you started.

Your internet connection might be weak. You can test by trying to play a youtube video - if it isn’t coming through the issue is probably with your internet connection. Try resetting your router!

If none of these work and you believe the issue is with your system, the quickest fix is to try a different browser (we recommend Chrome, Firefox and Safari) or a different device. Remember that Gatheround is mobile-friendly, so you can always switch to your phone!
