Exporting your product data from Genie is easy and can be completed in a few steps. This guide will walk you through the steps of fully exporting your product data.

In a previous guide, we walked you through exporting your products more broadly. We highly recommend reviewing this guide if you are looking for a more detailed breakdown of exporting saved views or specific configurations.

Exporting Full Inventory

Step 1: Remove all filters

Removing all filters from your inventory view will ensure that every product is exported accordingly. By default, your views will always contain the filter "Shopify Status is Active," which automatically excludes any archived and draft products.

If you want a comprehensive view of all products, this will need to be removed.

Step 2: Add all columns to the view

Under the columns section pop-up, there will be a spot to "Show all." This will add all hidden columns to your view and ensure the export contains all product data.

Step 3: Select all products

Once you've removed all filters and added all data columns to the view, it is time to select and export your products.

From the table, select the check box at the top of the table next to "Product." This will select all products on the page. If you have more than 1 page of products, you can then use the "Select all" option to select all products in your catalog.

Step 4: Export your products

Now, it is time to export. After selecting all products, click the Actions dropdown, then Export Selected Products.

This will do exactly what it says and export all products that you have selected.

You can use the function "All Variants," however, this may not provide you with an export containing all data points. If you choose this option, you will receive an email with a link to download the export.
