Connect CLARA with Teamtailor to automatically screen and score candidates, with insights synced back to your Teamtailor dashboard.
π Introduction
This guide explains how to connect CLARA with Teamtailor. Once integrated, CLARA screens and scores candidates from your Teamtailor jobs and sends qualification data back to your Teamtailor dashboard.
Use this guide if your team uses both CLARA and Teamtailor as part of your recruiting workflow.
π§° What you'll need before getting started
Before starting, make sure you have:
Partner Admin access in CLARA
Teamtailor Site Admin permissions (required to create API keys and configure triggers)
π§ How to connect CLARA with Teamtailor
Part 1: Get your Teamtailor credentials
In Teamtailor, click your profile icon in the upper-right corner to open Settings.
Go to Integrations β API Keys and click New API Key.
In the New API Key window, set the API Scope to Admin.
Select both Read and Write, then click Create. Copy the API key and save it for later.
Go to Settings β Integrations β Marketplace Activations, find CLARA, and click View Settings.
Copy the Integration Key from the screen that appears and save it for later.
Part 2: Connect and configure in CLARA
Log into CLARA and go to Settings β Integrations.
Click Add New Integration.
Select Teamtailor from the list of available integrations.
Paste both your API key and Integration Key into the provided fields, then click Connect to ATS.
In the Select Jobs to Process window, choose the jobs you want CLARA to screen.
Configure Map Actions to sync candidate status with Teamtailor.
Set up Follow-Up Questions to decide when CLARA sends follow-up messages to candidates. This can be configured later.
Click Submit. CLARA is now connected to Teamtailor.
β‘ Set up Teamtailor Triggers
Triggers determine when candidates in Teamtailor are sent to CLARA for screening. You can set up the CLARA trigger on a job template (recommended) or on individual jobs.
To set up triggers via Job Templates:
In Teamtailor, go to Settings β Job Templates. Select an existing template or create a new one.
In the left navigation, select the stage where you want CLARA to process candidates (for example, Inbox). Click Stage Actions, select CLARA, switch the webhook on, and click Add Trigger.
To set up triggers on an individual job:
Select the job, click the Triggers icon, then click Add Trigger and select the CLARA trigger.
π What syncs between CLARA and Teamtailor
Once enabled, the integration will:
Sync jobs from Teamtailor into CLARA
Send candidates to CLARA for screening based on the Teamtailor trigger you configure
Return CLARA scoring data and qualification tags back to Teamtailor
