This guide explains how to connect CLARA with SAP SuccessFactors. Once integrated, candidate data syncs from SuccessFactors into CLARA for AI-powered processing, and CLARA insights appear as custom fields and tags on your candidate profiles in SuccessFactors.

Use this guide if your team uses both CLARA and SAP SuccessFactors as part of your recruiting workflow.

🧰 What you'll need before getting started

Before starting, make sure you have:

Partner Admin access in CLARA
SAP SuccessFactors Admin credentials
Your SuccessFactors API Domain (e.g., salesdemo12345.successfactors.com) and Company ID

🧭 How to connect CLARA with SAP SuccessFactors

Part 1: Connect

Log into CLARA and go to Settings → Integrations. Click Add New Integration.

Select SAP SuccessFactors from the list.

Enter your SuccessFactors connection details: API Domain, Company ID, and Admin username and password.

Click Connect to ATS and verify the Connection Status shows as connected.

Part 2: Configure

Configure Candidate Processing. Select which SuccessFactors jobs you want CLARA to process. You can also enable automatic processing for all jobs.
Configure Map Actions. Toggle to enable CLARA to sync candidate status with SuccessFactors. Click Next: Follow-up Questions.
Configure Follow-up Questions. Select which candidate statuses should trigger CLARA follow-up questions. This can be configured later for individual jobs if needed.

Click Submit.

📌 What syncs between CLARA and SAP SuccessFactors

Once enabled, the integration will:

Sync candidate data from SuccessFactors jobs into CLARA for processing
Add CLARA custom fields to candidate profiles in SuccessFactors (including skills assessment, learning agility scores, and role alignment data)
Apply CLARA intelligent tags to help identify pre-qualified candidates
Update candidate status between both platforms when Map Actions is enabled
