With meez, you have access to the results of thousands of hours of culinary research.

The meez team has documented over 2500 ingredients (& counting!) for your convenience. These ingredients include:

  1. Precise yield %s that keep your costs accurate

  2. Ingredient-specific weight-to-volume conversions let you accurately convert between different unit types (like converting cups to grams)

  3. Allergen tags that automatically get added to your recipe as you add specific ingredients

When you're editing a recipe, as you type an ingredient name, you can see a menu of built-in ingredients pop up for you to choose from:

Once you’ve finished adding ingredients to a recipe and you click “done” to put the recipe in view/scale mode, you can click a system ingredient to see it in more detail:
