If you use PrestaShop, installing WAX goes through a dedicated module.
⚠️ Technical prerequisite: installing the module requires access to the PrestaShop back-office with the rights to download and install a module (Modules > Module Manager).
Some agencies or technical providers restrict this access for security reasons. Make sure in advance that you (or the person in charge of your site) have this permission, otherwise the installation cannot be completed.
Step 1: Create your WAX account

Go to the WAX signup page via this link.
Enter your information (company name, email, password).
Your WAX account is created
Step 2: Download and install the WAX module
Contact your WAX CSM to get the module's ZIP file.
In your PrestaShop back-office, go to:
Modules > Module Manager > Upload a module.Import the ZIP file and click Install.
📊 What data does the module collect?
Once the module is installed, WAX retrieves the following data from your PrestaShop store:
Your contacts (customers): full import of your existing customer base.
Orders: every order creation or update is sent to WAX, which allows you to, for example, trigger order confirmation or tracking messages.
Carts (checkouts): every cart creation or update is also sent, which notably enables abandoned cart recovery scenarios.
💡 Note:
Only new events (creation/update) are sent in real time: order and cart history prior to the module's installation is not automatically retrieved.
Some fields are not sent by default by PrestaShop, such as last order date: this field therefore cannot be used, for example, in a conditional split.
✅ Result
Your WAX account is created and connected to your PrestaShop store.
Your contacts, orders, and carts start syncing according to the rules described above.
