Setting up the RCS and SMS agent

From your WAX workspace

  1. Go to the RCS/SMS tab

  2. Click on Continue. A modal will open

  3. Check the checkbox

  4. Click on Activate

You will then be taken to a form.

Step 1: Company information

  • Company name

  • French company? (if yes, add the SIRET number)

  • Agent objective: Describe what this RCS agent will be used for. This helps with the verification process.

  • Agent owner's first and last name

  • Agent owner's professional email

  • Agent owner's professional phone number

Step 2: SMS

  • Display name: This is your company's official name, as it will appear at the top of the conversation window on the client side when you send SMS messages.

Step 3: RCS

  • Display name: This is your company's official name, as it will appear at the top of the conversation window on the client side when you send RCS messages.

  • Description: Write a short presentation of your agent. It will be visible in the "About" section of your business profile.

  • Banner image: The large header visual displayed at the top of your profile. Accepted formats: PNG, JPEG or JPG (1440x448 px), 200 KB maximum.

  • Logo: Your brand icon, displayed next to each message sent. Accepted formats: PNG, JPEG or JPG (224x224 px), 50 KB maximum.

  • Brand color: Enter the hex code of your primary color (e.g. #292823). It will be applied to buttons and interface elements. WAX automatically checks whether the contrast is sufficient to ensure readability.

  • Phone number*: Enter your main number in E.164 format (e.g. +33612345678). No spaces or special characters.

  • Email*: Provide a contact or customer support address.

  • Website*: Enter your brand's website URL.

RCS requires verified information and links to your legal documents. It's a compliance requirement, and a trust signal for your customers.

Step 4: Legal notices

  • Link to your privacy policy

  • Link to your terms and conditions

NB: You must provide valid URLs starting with https://. Make sure there are no leading or trailing spaces in the fields — this is a frequent source of validation errors.

Step 5: Form submission

Once all fields are completed, click "Submit".

  • SMS Agent

    • Your SMS agent is automatically activated — you can already start sending SMS messages.

  • RCS Agent

    • Our provider will carry out a verification within 10 days.

    • If your agent is approved, you will be able to create and send RCS messages!

      • If not, you will need to fill out the form again based on the feedback provided.
