To activate the RCS channel on WAX, you need to fill out a dedicated form directly from your settings. This guide walks you through it step by step.
💡Good to know : Creating the RCS form results in the direct unlocking of the SMS channel. You don't need to take any further action to activate SMS: as soon as you complete and submit the RCS form, SMS becomes automatically available on your account.
Accessing the form
Go to your WAX settings to start creating your RCS form.
1️⃣ Company
This first step identifies your company and the person responsible for the account.
Company name: enter your company's official registered name.
Company based in France: tick the box if this applies to you, then enter your SIRET number.
RCS agent usage: describe how the RCS agent will be used.
Account owner: enter the first name, last name, phone number, and professional email address of the person responsible for the account. This is the person who will hold responsibility for the account and be identified as the main point of contact for the RCS agent's validation.
👉 Click Next to move to the next step.
⚠️ Important: the email address entered for the account owner must necessarily be a professional address in the format @companyname (for example firstname.lastname@companyname.com). Generic addresses (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc.) are not accepted and will block the form's validation.
2️⃣ SMS
Sender Display Name: choose the name that will appear as the sender of your SMS messages.

3️⃣ RCS
This step lets you configure the brand profile that will be shown to the recipients of your RCS messages.
Brand profile description: add a description of your brand.
Brand Link Color: click the color swatch to choose a hue that works well for the accessibility of your brand links.
Banner: drag and drop or browse your files to upload your banner image.
Logo: drag and drop or browse your files to upload your logo.
Contact email address: enter your company's contact email address.
Website URL: enter your website's URL.
Website label: add a label for the link to your website.
👉 Click Next to continue.
4️⃣ Legal information
Privacy policy URL: enter the link to your privacy policy.
Terms of service URL: enter the link to your terms of service page.
👉 Click Next to continue.
5️⃣ Review and submit
✅ Review all the information entered, then click Submit to finalize your RCS agent submission.
Validation timeline
Once your form is submitted, the validation delay for the RCS agent is between 7 and 10 days. Your CSM will contact you as soon as the agent has been validated.
