Use this when you want to duplicate a value identically multiple times into a list within a flow, for example generating a repeated input for each item in a parallel list or a stack of identical geometries.
Creates n duplicates of the same object and places them into a list.
Inputs
Name | Abbreviation | Type | Access | Description |
Value | V | Any | Item | The value to repeat |
Count | C | Number | Item | The number of times to repeat the value |
Outputs
Name | Abbreviation | Type | Access | Description |
List | L | Any | List | The list of repeated values |
How to
Input a value (feature, object, number, etc)
Input a count.
This is how many times to repeat or duplicate the input.
Type a number in the box, or connect to another numerical output
The output is a list with n duplicates of the original value.
All geometries created with repeat are identical size, shape, and position in space.
Example
Duplicate 5 times, then move the elements a set distance
The original geometry is a square.
The square is repeated 5 times, to create a list of 5 items.
Then, the list is iterated on using map, construct vector, and translate. You must use the additional translate node to place the repeated items in multiple locations. Repeat on its own only creates in-place duplicates.
