How to find, read, and download your monthly settlement reports in the givestar Charity Admin dashboard — and what to do if a report is missing or amounts don't match.

How to find, read, and download your monthly settlement reports in the givestar Charity Admin dashboard — and what to do if a report is missing or amounts don't match.

This article is for charity admin users only. You'll need to have been added as an admin on your charity's givestar account to access these reports.

Finding your settlement reports

  1. Select Statements from the left-hand menu

  2. You'll see a list of monthly statements — each is labelled with an ID such as INV12345

  3. Click a statement ID to open that month's settlement report

What's in a settlement report

Each settlement report shows everything relating to that month's payout. Inside you'll find:

  • All donations received during that period

  • Processing fees and funds transfer fees deducted

  • The net amount paid to your charity

  • A charity payment reference you can use to match the transfer in your bank statement

To see a full breakdown of individual donations within a statement, select Donation Report from within the settlement.

Building a custom report

If you need a report across a specific date range or with custom filters, go to the Custom Reports area in the left-hand menu. This lets you build and download a tailored donation report outside of the standard monthly statements.

Report missing or amounts don't look right?

  • Statement not showing up — settlements are generated on or around the 14th of each month. If it's before that date, your next statement may not be ready yet.

  • Missing older statements — if you need a copy of a past statement that isn't visible in the dashboard, contact us at support@givestar.io with your charity name and the month you need.

  • Amounts don't match your bank — use the charity payment reference in the report to match the transfer. If there's still a discrepancy, contact us with the statement ID, payout date, and the amount your bank received.

  • Can't access Charity Admin — you need to be added as an admin on your charity's givestar account. Ask your charity's account owner, or contact us and we can help.
